YvesSegers

Yves Segers is professor of Rural and Food History at KU Leuven. He is director of the Interfaculty Centre for Agrarian History (ICAG, KU Leuven) and director of heritage organisation Centre for Agrarian History (CAG ngo). His research interests focus on the history and heritage of agriculture, the countryside and food culture in Belgium and Europe since 1750.

LienGeyskens

Lien Geyskens graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Conservation and Restoration from the University of Antwerp. She subsequently pursued a Master's degree in Heritage Studies there, which she completed with distinction in 2025. She specialized in intangible heritage and ethnography. Since 2026, she has been affiliated with the Centre for Agricultural History in Leuven, where she works as a project officer focusing on intangible heritage and the relationship between craftsmanship, traditions associated with land and water management, and food heritage as solutions to climate challenges.
